Terms and Conditions

1. Our Guarantee

At Old Elephant Fudge we are committed to providing an excellent service. If you have ordered from us and you are not entirely happy, please contact us with your comments to enable us to improve our service and products, and we will do all we can to put it right for you. We aim to respond to all queries and comments within 48 hours.

2. Price

The prices payable for products that you order are as set out on our website. You will be required to pay extra for delivery and our delivery charges are set out during the order process.

3. Right for you to cancel your order

If you have placed an order by mistake or would like to cancel your order for another reason, please call us on 01673 885562, or email: sales@oldelephantfudge.co.uk within 24 hours of placing your order or on a Monday following an order made over the weekend. Please have your order reference to hand to enable us to deal with your cancellation quickly.

4. Broken items and returns

All our products are dispatched in perfect condition, as we take the utmost care in wrapping them. If any items are unfortunately damaged in transit by circumstances beyond our control, then please inform us within 24 hours of receipt and we will rectify the situation.

5. Queries

6. Delivery

As all our products are handmade to order, at busy times, orders may take up to 5 working days to be dispatched. However, we try to dispatch orders within 48 hours of the order being received.

All parcels are sent via Royal Mail. Larger parcels will be sent via a courier. We charge a flat rate of £3.00 per order up to 2 kilos  for delivery although should you wish to order larger quantities please contact us first.

We will deliver to the address as you enter it within the ‘shipping address’ on the checkout page and cannot accept any liability for failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect. We regret that we are unable to accept orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box Number, or from persons placing an order whose own address contains a PO Box number.

At present we only deliver within the UK, however please feel free to contact us to see if we can assist in any overseas orders. Our definition of the United Kingdom includes the U.K. mainland, Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands & the Isle of Man.

7. Products & Packaging

Product and packaging are subject to change or substitution without prior notice. If necessary, we will substitute for an equal or higher priced item. If time is available, we will attempt to contact you.

8. Checkout & Payment

Once you have made your selections, go to the Checkout page to review your items. You will be shown a summary of your order, along with the total cost of your purchase.

Delivery information

You will be asked to complete your name and address information. Please complete all the fields that contain an asterisk. If the delivery address is different to the billing address, then please uncheck the box 'Deliver to this address'. New boxes will then appear to be completed.

Creating an Account

You are not required to register as a customer in order to place an order, but you can create an account for later use if you wish. To do this, please check the box 'Create an account for later use'. You will then be asked to create and confirm a password.

Making a Payment

Clicking on the ‘Confirm Order Now’ button will take you to the PayPal website where you can then make a payment using PayPal, a debit card or credit card.

Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given. We require you to supply the registered address of the Credit Card holder, which is used to validate your order with your selected credit card company. Failure to supply the correct details will result in your order being held pending the supply of the correct details.

The total value of your order will be displayed on the order confirmation screen. The displayed price is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay.

An email will be sent to you confirming your order. You will then be taken back to our website.

9. Subscribing to our Newsletter

From time to time we may send out newsletters to people who have subscribed to our mailing list. If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, you can sign up for this at the bottom of our homepage or from the section ‘My Account’ You can choose to unsuscribe to our mailing list by following the link in any emails that are sent to you, or by contacting us by email at: sales@oldelephantfudge.co.uk.

10. Links to third party websites

We provide some links to third party websites (such as Facebook). We are not responsible for the content of such sites and they may have privacy policies different to our own.
